Erin's 3rd birthday party

Today we had Erin's 3rd birthday at this wonderful place called Parti Palooza in Livermore. She had an absolute BLAST!!! We had her party 2 weeks early because we didn't want a chance of missing her birthday with Payton arriving who knows when. I especially liked the party because the place did all of the setup, serving, and clean up! I actually got to enjoy her party! Erin missed her nap and still played and played like an Energizer bunny. We weren't able to open her presents at the party because we wanted to give the kids more play time, so after Erin took a short nap on the way home, we opened her presents. She was so excited to see everything she got from her friends/family and enjoyed playing with her new toys even more!

Just over 3 weeks to go...

On 1/29/08 I started my maternity leave from work. I started the day off by going to my dr's appointment (I have to go every week now and get checked). Dr Newman checked me and said that she'd bet money Payton will come within 2 weeks. AHHH!!! I'm dilated (only to 1, no big deal), completely thinned out, and she could easily feel her head. She told me that I would start getting more and more contractions along with more discomfort. After coming home from my appointment I started to feel miserable!!! At one point the contractions were getting regular and I started to get a little worried that she may have started labor. Thankfully I went to bed and they went away. On Friday I was still pretty uncomfortable but not as bad. I just have this problem of feeling like she's going to "fall out" if I walk too much. Some sharp pains, but that's completely normal. So this week I have been getting the house ready for a new baby. I still don't have my bag packed (maybe tonight) but I did get Payton's bag done, her bassinet set up and all her clothes put away. The bottles (for when I pump) are in the wash and I cleaned/organized my cupboards to make room for them. All I really have left to do is get the living room in order. Hopefully KC will help me because I am TIRED!!! Let's just hope I can hold out until my mom gets here on Thursday AND Erin's birthday party ends on Sunday!

Erin has been really excited for her little sister to come. Every morning she wakes up and asks me if she gets to see her baby sister today. I think she's getting tired of hearing "no, maybe in a few weeks!" She loves singing her ABC's to Payton...through my belly button. I have to remember to video tape it!

Payton's Baby Shower

My friends Chantel and Monica threw me a baby shower to get ready for Miss Payton. We had so much fun! Erin wore her "I'm a big sister" shirt and the kids played while the adults visited. Chantel made me the most beautiful cake and favors, overall the whole shower was beautiful! My other friends are still talking about it! We got some new clothes, necessities, and a double stroller. I am so excited and can't wait until she is here!!!

32 week belly pics

I can't believe I am already 32 weeks along!!!!! People tell me every day that I look like I should be delivering any day now. Little do they know I still have 2 long months left before Miss Payton makes her way into the world. I am still having ALOT of back pain and it's frustrating to know that it will only get worse in the upcoming weeks. Other than that, things have been great!

Tiffany came over and set up her studio to take my pregnancy pictures. We did things a little differently this time and went somewhat risque'. I love them!
