Payton is 2 weeks old!

Payton had her 2 week checkup yesterday and is doing really well. She weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long. The dr said she is growing fast and was amazed by how much muscle control she already has. When they put her on her tummy she already got on her arms and knees, lifted her head up and looked around. I have a superwoman on my hands, LOL. Dr says that she thinks Payton will be an early walker, we'll have to just wait and see.

Erin still wants to help out and hold her sister all the time. Our biggest "problem" is that Erin keeps trying to pick her up by herself.

Payton is still eating and sleeping well, she gives me one 4-5 hour stretch of sleep at night and then goes back down for another 3 hours. Hopefully this isn't just a hoax and continues. The only issue we're having is that she gets fussy between 10pm and 12/1am. Erin did the same thing and they considered it mild colic. So far Payton hasn't been so bad, she just seems like she doesn't know what she wants. I can't help but wonder if it's an upset stomach because she gets the hiccups almost every time she nurses. Poor little girl!

Here are some pics throughout the week, I can't believe how much she's changing in such little time.

Our First Week Home

Payton has been home for a week now and has been doing really well. She nurses, sleeps, and poops ALL THE TIME and I can already tell she is growing faster than I'd like her to. Erin has been quite the helper and gets really excited every morning when her baby sister wakes up. She wants so badly to play with Payton and doesn't really understand why she's not quite old enough to play yet. This week Payton had her first sponge bath at home and hated every second of it. Of course we had to capture the moment.
